Honoring the Sabbath - Truth or Lie?
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated
the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And
there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. (Gen 1:3-5) Knowledge is powerful, did you know that YHWH called the day we called Sunday the "first day",
not Sunday. The hebrew name is Yom Reeshone, Yom (day), so the name was actually (first day). The only day of the week that
was given a name was the Sabbath, which is the seventh day or what we call Saturday. “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do
all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath (rest) to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither
you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.
11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh
day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. (Exodus 20:8-11) The Sabbath is a day for man to rest spiritually and rejuvenate his whole man through the Messiah.
So he blessed the Sabbath because he rested from all his creation. (Gen2:3) It's a time we set aside to meet with family,
friends and God, time is not revelant and the Father blesses us for our obedience to his appointed times. (Lev 23).
It is what set Israel apart from all other nations, it is a identification marker. I know, I know is this legalism or law, no, is tithting law as we know it. The
word "law" as translated in the Greek is "nomos' which means law, the original word is Torah,
YHWH's guidances and instructions. There's no proper english translation for the hebrew word Torah. So what
the Greeks call law is really Torah; instructions in righteousness, that when we obey according (Duet
28:1-16) we are blessed, so simply put, obedience to Torah brings the blessings in our life. Please understand
that Torah has nothing to do with your salvation, but with your walk in the earth. When I understood this, it changed
my whole perspective on many things! The name Sunday
comes from the Greek name Sax, G. Sondag; Sw, Sontag; so called because this was anciently dedicated to the sun or it's worship.
Why are we honoring a pagan day of worship, just something to think about.

Faith brings the Birthright, Obedience brings the Blessing!
I have come to realize that my faith has nothing to do with my blessings,
but my faith is my steadfast, persistence in the things of life and God. This definition is from the hebrew word "Emunah"
it means faith, steadiness and steadfastness in Torah. What is Torah, it is simply God's instructions and teaching, it's from the hebrew word
"Yarah" which means to shoot an arrow and hit the mark (blessings, purpose and destiny) in your life. So therefore my blessings come as a result of my obedience to the 613 universal commands,
habits that govern the universe. They are found in the first 5 five books of the bible...Genesis, Exodus, Lev, Numbers, Duet.
Jesus walked them out perfectly in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, hence He was able to speak to the dead, cast out devils,
heal the sick, for He was in His Divinity God but in His humanity he was man...just like you and I. He declared in Matthew
5:17-20 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law (Torah) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish
them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke
of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of
these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices
and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses
that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."
For years we have ran from conference to conference,
class to class but yet we have not experience the blessings of God we are meant to walk in. The word was meant to be
lived, it is alive and able to not just save your soul but to bring the best of what God desires for you. When we walk
in the 613 habits they become behaviors that become a lifestyle that bring the blessing of Yaweh in your life. So God has given us a manual for success,
the same word He gave in Joshua 1:6-8 "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the
land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law (commands,
habits) my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever
you go. Do not let this Book of the Law (Torah, God's teachings and instructions) depart from your mouth; meditate
on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."
Your obedince
is the key to your blessing, your faith gives you access to the birthright in Abraham you are a seed of Abraham according
to Galatians 3:26-29 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all
of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free,
male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's
seed, and heirs according to the promise.
